Welcome to my website. I am an Associate Professor and Associate Chair (Graduate and Continuing Education) at the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. I received my PhD and Master’s degrees from the School of Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and my Bachelor’s degree in Social Science (Major: Geography; Minor: Anthropology) from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. My teaching areas include research methods and information organization. My research interests include structural and individual factors in information behavior, public library usage, social media information seeking, and bibliometrics. I am a recipient of the Nanyang Education Award (School) and am on the Stanford/Elsevier Top 2% Scientists List.
